Trompe l’Oeil Vaulted Ceiling

With this intricate trompe l’oeil ceiling mural, Pretorius Studio gave this home entryway the illusion of a classical vaulted ceiling with multiple levels of columns soaring to a central oculus. Painted scrolling ironwork “supports” the chandelier. The 14' × 40' mural was created with oil on canvas in our studio, then installed on-site.
