A tribute to our home city of Chicago, we custom made these organic shaped plaster tiles for the Ballroom lobby at the JW Marriott Hotel. The lively grid of panels is hand painted with beloved Chicago landmarks in soft sepia tones and gold leafed highlights. A very unique commission for the beautiful public spaces of this historic landmark property, designed by Daniel Burnham in 1914. Our art installation celebrates Chicago, with images of Wrigley Field, The Bean, Marshall Field’s famous clock, the Robey house by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Chicago Theater, a gritty bridge over the river, and many other signature sights of our great city.
